Mission Statement

To promote innovative public policy solutions in the areas of business, healthcare, education, state infrastructure, and public safety while emphasizing the principles of responsible government, personal responsibility and improving the general welfare of all Floridians.

Purpose
The purpose of Voices of Florida Citizens-CCE is to engage in all lawful activities allowed a Committee of Continuous Existence by the laws of Florida. The Committee is a voluntary, nonprofit, unincorporated, nonpartisan Committee.   The Committee is an independent, autonomous organization and is not a branch or subsidiary of any national, state or local political party or other political organization.  As determined and approved by the Board of Directors with the goal of focusing on providing Floridians with better government by promoting innovative progressive policies that will improve the future for Floridians in the areas of healthcare, education, economic development, environmental research, state infrastructure, better transportation, as well as inform its members and others about political candidates and issues of interest and concern.

Voices of Florida Citizens-CCE is empowered to raise funds for the purpose of furthering these principles; to make contributions from such funds to political candidates seeking local and state office who have demonstrated their commitment to these principles; to make contributions to political parties and other CCE’s as allowed by law, and to actively encourage qualified and interested citizens to seek political office and become more involved in the governmental affairs of Florida; to operate a Committee of Continuous Existence in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 106, Florida Statutes, as it now exists or may hereafter be amended; and to do any and all things necessary or desirable for the attainment of these purposes.

Voices of Florida Citizens--CCE operates under Florida Statute 106.071.  Floridians have complete access to all financial records through this public website--voicesoffloridacitizens.org.   Voices of Florida Citizens-CCE discloses the names of individuals and entities donating to, as well as those receiving disbursements from, this CCE on this web site within five business days of depositing such donations and making such disbursements.

Furthermore, no officer or director of this CCE will solicit, cause to have solicited or accept any contributions on behalf of Voices of Florida Citizens-CCE during a regular session or any special session of the Florida Legislature

Voices of Florida Citizens-CCE was founded by Florida State Representative Curtis Richardson.   He is a part-time legislator, and a full time educational consultant, and he is an advocate for honesty and integrity in government.   The other individuals associated with the organization  are Nina Ashenafi, Secretary/Treasurer and Diane L. Doll, Deputy Treasurer.
